New phones

Last week, I picked up the Uniden 5.8GHz cordless phone set from Circuit City. Here is a link: TRU8865-2. I plugged them up to my Vonage router, and they worked great on the couple calls I made. One of the reasons I picked this unit (besides the 5.8GHz band), is that it does not have a built-in answering machine. Instead, it has a blinking light on each of the handsets to indicate when you have a voicemail waiting. This works great with the voicemail service provided by Vonage, and I assume any other carriers that offer the service. It's expandable to 10 headsets, but we're currently only using 3. I'll have to do more testing with its range and some of the more detailed features, but my first impression is that it's a great little system.
